We are planning a full day of hat making ... course will include all materials and snacks and lunch.
You will leave with at least two hats that you designed the patterns for and created.
For the past several years we have welcomed schools and groups into our studio to demonstrate
simple design principles through the construction of a hat. Now YOU can learn too!
You will learn about hats but even better ...you will learn about your own head size, your hat size
how to choose a hat that flatters your face and body shape as well as how to draft a
simple hat pattern based on your head dimensions.
Hats 101 - The project is to construct a beret (above) or a toque from Polar Fleece.
Course duration will be 2.5 hours and requires no sewing skills
(our staff will do your sewing for you with your supervison)
$45 Cost includes materials and lots of fun!
You will leave wearing your new hat!
