Hats 101 - Learn how to make this hat!
Introduction to millinery and basic pattern-making.

Start with our basic Beret Pattern...
add some of your own imagination
add some knowledge about your hat size
add some new skills like pattern-making and design
(we help here!)
and voila! A new hat that you created!

For the past several years we have welcomed schools and groups into our studio to demonstrate
simple design principles through the construction of a hat. Now YOU can learn too!
You will learn about hats but even better ...you will learn about your own head size, your hat size
how to choose a hat that flatters your face and body shape as well as how to draft a
simple hat pattern based on your head dimensions.
Hats 101 - The project is to construct a beret (above) or a toque from Polar Fleece.
Course duration will be 2.5 hours and requires no sewing skills
(our staff will do your sewing for you with your supervison)
$45 Cost includes materials and lots of fun!
You will leave wearing your new hat!
